Oregon couple has a Valentine’s Day Dream Wedding during “Disney’s Year of a Million Dreams”

(FEB. 14, 2007): A dream-come-true Valentine’s Day wedding became a reality today for John Kinney and Julie Parsons of Hillsboro, Ore. during the “Brides” magazine “Dream Team Wedding” at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The couple was selected from a nationwide search conducted by “Brides” magazine for a fantasy wedding in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom during Disney Parks’ “Year of a Million Dreams” celebration. Top bridal industry experts worked their magic to create a once-in-a-lifetime wedding fit for a princess.

On behalf of my wife and our entire family, I would like to thank the wonderful people at Disney World (they excel at performing that special magic), the Dream Team who flawlessly produced a wedding people will talk about 50 years from now, and Brides Magazine for putting the whole package together and making our daughter’s wedding so special. We will always remember the special days we spent with all of you in Disney World…experiencing the dream and the magic. All our very best to all of you…and my wife sends a special thanks as well. Julie and John are home now and getting their feet back on the ground, but their heads will be in the clouds for some time to come….just like the story……and we trust they will indeed live happily ever after!
